Fashion District, LA Down Town
The emergence of Internet even challenged the fashion economy. There are online shops that you do not have to walk around for hours to find the clothes you want. All you need to do is to scroll and click. Los Angeles Down Town's Fashion District could not get away from the declining economy crisis, either. Still, Saturday Flea Market opens on every Saturday early morning. Shoppers who look for clothes with cheap prices, no matter how unsatisfactory the quality might be, gather to spot 3 dollar shirts, 8 dollar blazer or 10 dollar purse. Food are sold on street vendors, stacks of clothes are spread on the ground and children run around. Little shop fair every week, and I saw that those people still exist and make livings from this forgotten market.
